A sweet nectarine is a fruit that has the best of both peach and plum. It has an exquisite balance of sweetness in the flesh, which measures up to 24°Bx in the sugar content, and tartness around the skin. We use "Reiou" grown by Mr. Tanzawa from Yamanashi City. He's a pioneer of nectarines in Japan who went to California, a major production area of nectarines, in 1970's to study the fruit. Why not indulge in Mr. Tanzawa's "Reiou"?
